- Manufacturing & Production Engineering Supported CNC production across horizontal mills, 3-axis, 5-axis, and turning operations.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Reviewed customer engineering drawings, evaluated manufacturing feasibility, and helped determine effective production methods and order of operations.
- Fixture & Workholding Design Designed and developed 25+ custom CNC fixtures and workholding solutions in CAD alongside production and programming teams.
- Project & Customer Ownership Took responsibility for assigned customer jobs, developing production instructions, coordinating workflow, resolving issues, and helping ensure on-time delivery.
- Process Development & Improvement Developed production flows and assembly procedures, purchased and implemented new assembly equipment, and helped improve manufacturing processes.
- Reverse Engineering Reverse engineered products and established manufacturing and assembly procedures, including work for Reata’s bearing-heater subsidiary.
- Production Technology Implementation Led efforts to bring the Keyence laser engraving process in-house, including implementation into the production workflow.
- Machine Maintenance Coordination Coordinated maintenance for 15 CNC machine tools, including service scheduling, minor troubleshooting, and shop-floor maintenance procedures.
- Production Data & Utilization Analysis Analyzed production data and created reports to track machine utilization and manufacturing performance.
- ERP / Manufacturing Systems Integration Supported technical data migration and integration into the Fulcrum ERP system, helping transition company production information into the new platform.
- Cross-Functional Coordination Worked directly with machinists, programmers, production personnel, engineering, and management to solve manufacturing problems and keep jobs moving through production.
